After the series of delays, I finally arrived at the venue! I couldn't contain my excitement. I texted my mother that I will not be home until tomorrow as I will proceed directly to our Reunion. As I approached the crowd, I could see the familiar faces, familiar and yet different. I could hear Kenneth (our emcee) saying " Ang bag-o lang kaabot, papulia na lang na!". He's referring to me. I arrived two hours after the event had started. Blame it on my delayed flight and the heavy traffice in Bacolod. Gosh, I wasn't even able to fix myself. I went straight from the airport, dummped my bags and joined the crowd. After a few hi's and hello's I went to the stage area to fix the presentation for everybody to view. I was so tired but not hungry but I need some carbo-loading to keep me going so I got some skewers to eat. After eating, I hurriedly went to the restroom to fix myself. When I got back to the crowd, I was so surprised because there were so many attendees. Thanks to the organizers for the job well done! I was so engrossed in listening to Kenneth as she wittingly spill out her funny antics and occassionally making "okray" everybody including our former teachers. Games and prizes had been given, teachers were asked to give their speech. Michelle and Noel joined us via telecon. Soon, the party is ending. I hardly got any voice left from shouting and laughing at Kenneth's funny antics. There was a short videoke session but the caterer were starting to gather the chairs and tables and fixing the food area so the session was called to a halt. Reynette was pulled by some naughty boys and poor girl, she was dripping wet all over when she got up from the pool. I promised Ralph that I will drink to death and will stall awake until dawn so I kept my promise. After the pool area has been cleared and some classmates had filled their doggie bags with foods, we retired to the cabbanna. We spent the rest of the night chatting, drinking and recalling the happy days we had in high school. Green jokes had been thrown, intimate things revealed. Gosh! I wish the night would never end. I laughed hard until I almost cried. I was really happy seeing and talking to them again. This was one of the happiest days of my life. And I'm looking forward for another reunion with them. To my dear classmates, thank you for the memories. Asta la vista!
